Director of Plan Administration
For this key position, we are looking for an experienced hands-on executive to develop plans for the direction and administration of the Company’s business activities to attain company objectives and to manage the recordkeeping function at our corporate headquarters.

 

Responsibilities:

§          Analyzes and appraises, regularly and systematically, the effectiveness of department recordkeeping processes to ensure that established objectives will be met, that company policies will be observed.

§          Provides problem solving for client issues to ensure prompt resolution and satisfaction.

§          Develops and maintains an effective recordkeeping department through the selection, training, compensation and motivation of all staff.

§          Ensure that plan data is maintained accurately and in accordance with appropriate regulatory requirements

o         Act as a knowledge resource for payroll and reporting issues.

·          Responsible for evaluation of existing plan changes or new plan/takeovers as it relates to Company systems¾Quantech, Crystal, InstantAccess and Online Enrollment.

o         Estimates fee compensation required for new clients and for special projects

 

Experience and Education

·          College degree (finance, accounting, or mathematics preferred) required, MBA or other relevant masters degree desirable

·          7-10 years experience with 401(k) and/or Qualified Pension and 2-3 years with non-qualified deferred compensation plans

·          Two years experience with Quantech and/or plan conversion process desirable

·          Five years experience as department manager.

·          Computer literate, must know Microsoft Office, especially Excel

·          Internet savvy

·          Series 6 and 63 preferred (or must be obtained within 6 months, if hired)

·          Positive, “can do” attitude

·          Analytical and detail oriented
